This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to:

Director of Rebuild, CS Quality&Warranty

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the Sales Support team and adapt and implement sales support strategy for the designated area. Each day, you will ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring they are in line with ABB standards and targets.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Creating, implementing, and reviewing local sales support strategy.
  • Defining key targets for customer support and ensuring those are achieved.
  • Assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.
  • Identifying the most suitable approach (e.g., direct sales, consortium, or channel) that can be applied to better serve the customer.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid in Auburn Hills, MI

This role is contributing to the Modernization Services/Customer Service/Robotics in the United States.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations or similar field preferred; will consider relevant work experience too
  • 12 or more years' experience in leading automation project management or proposals
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Powertrain / Paint / ArcWelding / Material Handling, Body-in-White and General Industry types of projects
  • Proven experience in operations management
  • You are immersed in Project Management tools and Robotics Automation
  • Have a demonstrated track record in process improvements based on results
  • English fluency
  • Candidates must possess authorization to work permanently without sponsorship now or in the future
