Position Summary: As Global Senior Enterprise Network Architect, you will lead Dover's and OpCo IT Infrastructure in the design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of our integrated network, internet, voice, and mobile infrastructure. You will develop the architecture and specification blueprint of the network and communications of Dover IT that supports and scales secure communication for Dover's global employee base, Mission Critical and Business systems applications, Dover's Manufacturing and Engineering systems, as well as integration of acquisition systems. You will drive usage of the specifications by OpCo and Corp Projects to refresh or layout secure and scalable network infrastructure. You will be a technical advisor to various stakeholders in the business, including Manufacturing operations and Supply Chain, Product Engineering and Development, Digital Sales and Ecommerce, Web Marketing. driving the transformation of Dover's Manufacturing with IOT / OT technologies, Product development and engineering technologies, as well as other strategic Dover initiatives. You will develop and specify architectural standards, which will be used by Operations team for global Network operations. You will be accountable for the alignment and adherence of the operations to the standards. In this role, you will promote industry's best practices at an optimized cost point. As a Leader of Change, you will be responsive and adaptable in your approach, succeeding through and with others in an open, collaborative peer environment. Leveraging data, analyze people and processing metrics, connecting people, business processes and enabling technologies. Equal emphasis will be made in project and process management / communication as technical solution (software) design. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Create project architecture blueprint and specifications, along with stakeholder approvals. Manages a project plan on deploying blueprint. * Define (documented), communicate, and monitor alignment on the strategies for Networking, Network Security, and Telecommunication * Provide Program oversight, direction, and execution of strategic network solution system initiatives, like IoT, OT, Engineering. * Exhibits deep technical and communication skills to coach and train the organization for network optimizations and problem solving. o Network modeling on various topology o Network security: Cisco ASA and other Firewalls o Software defined WAN o Technologies for Data and Voice transformation on internet * Manage Network adjacencies like o Solarwinds monitoring tools o Network maintenance and administration using ISE o Documentation and maintenance in Netbox * Identify, design and support businesses in their implementation of standard enterprise processes throughout the project lifecycle of network infrastructure refresh and new deployments (like IoT / OT technology deployment). * Coach teams and provide guidance for L4 and L3 Network operations. * Partner and collaborate with peers in Digital / CX / e-Commerce, Applications, Partners, and Cybersecurity teams to design, develop and implement solutions. * Develop and implement effective communications for Programs and establish a regular cadence for IT leadership to review key operational metrics and Program performance * Maintain team focus through effective project planning and execution; leverage a mix of waterfall and Agile techniques to optimize delivery outputs * Identify project and program risks and develop effective mitigation plans; Inform leadership of support / decisions needed to manage risks * Partner with VP and Director-level constituents in business functions, IT and Security to identify, procure, implement, and support effective technology solutions in support of operating company networking and telecommunication solutions * Act as a liaison between Dover IT, supplier-partners, and Dover functional owner to resolve conflicts, address operational issues, and support technology roadmap * This is a Senior individual contributor role, but you may have a small team of architects to manage. * Demonstrate commitment to industry standards, company policy, integrity, ethics and legal compliance Qualifications / Requirements / Desired Characteristics: * Minimum of B.S. or equivalent in Information Technology (MIS, Computer Science, or similar discipline) or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, or General). * 10+ years' experience in relevant field, required. o 7+ years' experience in Network Architecture required * Deep industry knowledge of network architecture and best practice * Data Center management is a big plus * Experience leading strategic contracting processes with technology focus / implications: RFI, RFP, MSA, Statement of Work; Supplier negotiation and Service Level Management experience * Ability to work well with vendors, internal constituents, and third party/internal compliance groups * Ability to influence & lead vendor negotiations and/or facilitate discussions with vendors and internal requestors/customers * Understanding of contracting processes and procedures including terms and conditions, pricing, statements of work, amendments, and NDA's * Experience running complex, global projects with various stakeholders (multi-function / multi-region) * Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic environment * Strong sense of urgency, accountability and highly objective oriented * Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks, a self-starter with ability to solve problems proactively * Clear, concise and articulate communication skills - verbal, written and listening * Interfaces with wide array of individuals, balances multiple tasks and maintains positive attitude and energy * Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to win right * Commitment to the development of others and mentoring-360 (up, down, lateral) Work Arrangement: Hybrid Pay Range: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
