Job Description




As a Security Officer Armed Real Estate Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong, visible presence. Your armed status will support a secure environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication, reflecting our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork, while acting with integrity and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including the building interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to occupants and visitors.
  • Adhere to all site-specific post orders, Allied Universal policies, and applicable laws regarding the carrying and use of firearms.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable law.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
