As a Security Guard - Armed Bank Patrols in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols provided by Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Maintain visibility throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, in accordance with company guidelines.
• Adhere to all protocols regarding the carrying and handling of firearms, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
