Security Officer - Utility Patrol Driver Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Utility Patrol Driver Full-Time in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public to deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly in all situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with client personnel and emergency responders as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
