As a Security Officer - Armed Perm Hospital Custom Protection Detail in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to established procedures.
• Assist law enforcement personnel as needed and follow all protocols for an armed post in a government environment.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents requiring armed intervention.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Follow all site-specific and Allied Universal protocols for handling weapons and maintaining proper documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
• A Corrections Officer License is required.
• A Law Enforcement Officer License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
