As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing visible support to create a welcoming environment for all visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and involves routine patrols, strong customer service, and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel or authorities as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized entry as directed by site protocols.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining awareness of customer and staff activity and reporting any concerns to management or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to promote a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
