We Require
Two years of experience performing administrative and clerical duties High school diploma or GED Post-secondary education may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
Other Requirements
Successful candidates must currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Arizona Driver's license by the time of hire Within one month of hire, all employees will be required to provide evidence of immunity or receive immunizations for vaccine-preventable illnesses for any position within the Maricopa County Department of Public Health; required immunizations include MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Tdap (whooping cough and diphtheria), Varicella (chickenpox), and annual Influenza; some positions require a Hepatitis B vaccine and/or a Tuberculosis test

Job Contributions
Manage clinic vaccine orders and maintain weekly dose tracking to ensure accurate inventory monitoring Assists Vaccine Inventory Control Specialist with vaccine storage and handling, inventory, and vaccine reconciliation Oversee vaccine storage conditions for all clinic sites via SensoScientific, ensuring compliance by submitting temperature reports to the Arizona Department of Health Services Liaison for vaccine providers, process transfer requests, schedule deliveries and pickups, submit ASIIS transfers Maintain ongoing reports tracking VFC, VFA and privately purchased vaccine eligibility and administered doses monthly and annually for each clinic location Support vaccine accountability by updating and reconciling inventory counts in VOM for county clinics Support administrative operations by filing and scanning invoices, packing slips and order forms, maintaining organized records for easy retrieval Work with the Vaccine Inventory Supervisor to update the Vaccine Management Plan and verify that all team members' training certifications are on file and current Work with the Vaccine Inventory Supervisor and clinic leads to review and update all contract documentation, making it readily available for yearly state VFC and VFA compliance visits
Working Conditions
Must be able to lift 25 pounds Able to adapt to frequent change and tight deadlines Must be able to work flexible hours to respond to vaccine allocations and requests Requires travel to and from job-related locations during a scheduled workday, subject to County policies regarding the use of County vehicles or private vehicles on County business Must be able to participate in emergency response training as scheduled and be available to respond as directed in the event of a public health emergency
