Security Professional - Telecom Campus Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Professional - Telecom Campus Patrol Full-Time in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and strong communication skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist visitors and personnel with directions and access as needed, providing a welcoming presence at the location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Collaborate with site management and other Allied Universal team members to help address security-related concerns and/or issues.
• Utilize communication devices and systems to document and relay information regarding activities and incidents on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
