PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $111,400.00-$136,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $86,800.00 - $160,600.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:

As the Manager of Financial Health Programs, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the financial well-being of our members, employees, and community. Your leadership will drive the success of our Financial Health Programs, ensuring outstanding member service and operational efficiency. Your innovative ideas and strategic thinking will contribute to the continuous improvement and expansion of our financial health initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage and Operate Programs: Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of BECU's Financial Education, Coaching, and Counseling Programs.
  • Lead your team: Directly oversee a financial coaching team of Financial Health Check Specialists, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high standards of quality and service.
  • Develop New Programs: Support the creation of new financial health programs and initiatives, bringing forward innovative ideas and overseeing successful pilot programs.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to building strategic plans and roadmaps at the team and department level.
  • Research and Innovate: Actively research and apply innovative initiatives and practices in the financial health and financial inclusion space.
  • Optimize Program Delivery: Seek out effective concepts in behavioral science/economics to enhance BECU's financial health programs.
  • Develop Standards and Metrics: Support the development and administration of financial health standards and metrics, facilitating data capture, review, and reporting.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires one year of directly related lead experience.
  • Typically requires four years of experience in financial health experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of financial education, counseling, and coaching methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, strategic, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with high-impact cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with data management and analysis.
  • Understanding of behavioral economics/science principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Industry credentials/certifications preferred. (e.g., FiCEP, NFEC, NACCC).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
