We are seeking a skilled Business Process Engineer to join our Platform Services Division in support of a large government contract. This fully remote position focuses on the administration, configuration, and optimization of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platform that supports critical industrial asset maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maintenance business processes and the technical expertise to configure enterprise-level systems to meet complex operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and configure the CMMS platform to support maintenance operations for industrial assets.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into system configurations.
- Design and implement workflows, business rules, and automation within the CMMS platform.
- Configure asset hierarchies, work order processes, preventive maintenance schedules, and inventory management functions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation including configuration guides, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to maintenance teams and system users.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and validation of configuration changes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate the CMMS with other enterprise systems.
- Optimize business processes to improve maintenance efficiency and asset reliability.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve user experience.
- Support data migration, system upgrades, and platform enhancements.
- Ensure system configurations comply with government standards and security requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience administering and configuring enterprise CMMS or EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) platforms such as SAP EAM/PM, IBM Maximo, Salesforce Field Service, Infor EAM, Oracle EAM, or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of maintenance management business processes including work order management, preventive maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and inventory control
- Experience with system configuration, workflow design, and business rule implementation.
- Proven ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of industrial asset maintenance operations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating documentation and delivering user training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance (US Citizenship is required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multiple CMMS/EAM platforms (SAP, Maximo, Salesforce, etc.)
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) or total productive maintenance (TPM) methodologies
- Experience supporting government or federal agency contracts
- Familiarity with facilities management, fleet management, or industrial operations
- Understanding of asset performance management and condition-based maintenance strategies
- Experience with system integrations using APIs, web services, or middleware
- Knowledge of data management, reporting, and analytics within CMMS platforms
- Certification in relevant CMMS platforms or business process management
- Experience with change management and organizational adoption strategies
- Familiarity with ITIL, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
