Security Officer - Residential Access Control

As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control Specialist in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer focused on access control at a residential location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the residential location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or potential violations.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns related to security-related matters at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
