URGENT Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for basic repairs, troubleshooting, performing preventative/predictive and emergency maintenance on all assigned equipment.

Join Us in Cleveland! This exciting opportunity is located in Cleveland, Ohio. We are looking for candidates who are either already local or open to relocating to join our team. Relocation Assistance will be offered!

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines, automation equipment, stamping presses and basic industrial machinery.

• Troubleshoot, modify, and repair production machinery and equipment.

• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair as required.

• Assist Manufacturing Engineering with process or equipment improvements.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with Tool and Die, Engineering, Supervisors and outside vendors regarding projects and repair problems.

• Ability to fabricate, weld, or machine parts as required is preferred.

• Plan and perform sequence of work to install, repair, and maintain a wide variety of production and building equipment.

• Perform work on interior and exterior building/facilities equipment such as air compressors, HVAC units, lighting/fans and facilities restrooms.

• Move and install large machinery.

• Work from engineering drawings, schematics, work orders, manuals.

• Use basic hand and power tools, machine tools and precision measuring equipment.

• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Hiring Bonus: $2,000.00

Relocation Assistance

• Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or trade school preferred.

• Previous experience in or with:

  • 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance Technician Work

  • Basic knowledge of PLC's / Basic Computer Skills

  • Working in fast-paced, multitasking environments to meet operational deadlines

• Skills:

  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Basic computer skills

  • CMMMS knowledge

  • Use basic hand and power tools, machine tools and precision measuring equipment

  • Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

• Physical and environmental abilities:

  • Bend, squat down, and reach above your head

  • Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
