Staffmark is hiring in Monroe, LA. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant. We're seeking an upbeat, motivated individual to contribute to the community. Be part of something bigger!

Pay: $15 - $18 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recruiting and HR experience
• Ability to recruit and screen candidates
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and payroll software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR matters
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or relevant experience)

Summery

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will provide direct clerical and organizational support to the HR Director. Your role will focus on recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, and general HR administration. You will be responsible for managing the applicant process, including maintaining job postings, conducting interviews, and ensuring all necessary documents are collected for new hires. Additionally, you'll process biweekly payroll and maintain employee records in compliance with company policies.
