The Supervisor/IT Infrastructure is responsible for coordinating departmental activities that result in
meeting Service Level Objectives and other commitments to internal customers, including installation,
administration, and patching of IT Infrastructure platforms while providing technical and task leadership
and mentoring to employees to achieve schedule, productivity and quality targets.

POSITION DIMENSIONS

The incumbent has direct supervisory responsibility for up to seven exempt and non-exempt
employees. The incumbent does not have accountability for budgets. The incumbent frequently
exchanges information with non-exempt and professional level personnel, Corporate and Division
directors and managers, vendors, outside consultants and contingent workers and infrequently
exchanges information with officers.

QUALIFICATIONS

There are clear precedents and practices which the incumbent uses as guidelines to determine how
this job is performed. This position requires four to six years of relevant work experience with any of
the following infrastructure technologies/platforms:

  • Server operating systems
  • Workstation operating systems
  • Cloud Architecture
  • Automation
  • Networking/Telephony/Cybersecurity Tools
  • Middleware
  • Database
  • Virtualization
  • Storage/Backup

An associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited university or progress toward a degree is
preferred. Industry recognized certification(s) relevant to responsibilities are preferred. Incumbents
performing activities requiring government, regulatory or vendor certification must keep those
certifications current.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Oversee the Information Services program, developing policies and procedures to ensure the effective use of Microsoft 365, Intune, and SCCM.
* Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services and administration portals.
* Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
* Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premises Exchange/AD integrated with Microsoft 365).
* Knowledge of compliance, data loss prevention (DLP), and security policies within Microsoft 365.

Provide service to I/S customers
* Support life-cycle management of IT Infrastructure platforms, including installation,
administration, patching and decommissioning
* Plan, monitor and manage staff assignments for ongoing and specific work to assure completion of
work within scope, schedule and quality expectations; ensure that progress and problems are
reported and resolved on a timely basis
* Coordinate with project managers or develop departmental project work plans; ensure that team
and individual work is adequately planned to achieve expected scope, schedule and deliverables, and
monitor progress
* Assure appropriate testing and documentation of changes to the infrastructure
* Perform and ensure timely formal and informal communications with business area
representatives, support group personnel, project teams, building and facilities personnel,
supplier representatives, and outside organizations; assure effective communications within work
groups
* Lead or participate in product and service selections and development of design specifications
as assigned
* Participate in or review problem diagnosis and resolution on a timely basis; participate in
"post-mortem" reviews as needed; provide on-call support
* Support the analysis, prioritization and development of change requests, upgrades and patches,
and maintenance actions
* Participate in development of Service Level Objectives; supervise monitoring and analysis of
performance against Service Level Objectives and I/S performance targets, as assigned
* Ensure that departmental personnel have equipment and supplies, tools and records needed to
perform assignments effectively
* Participate in technology recovery and departmental emergency management planning,
rehearsals and execution

Develop and utilize I/S practices
* Participate in developing, maintaining and monitoring the use of I/S policies, practices,
methodology, standards and tools, including security and control mechanisms

Develop I/S organization and skills
* Be a source of knowledge and expertise in one or more functional and/or technical topics;
prepare briefings and research reports as appropriate
* Gain appropriate knowledge of the business processes and organization in the areas being
supported
* Design, conduct, and participate in training for I/S and end user personnel
* Participate in recruitment, reassignment and performance evaluation of employees

Control I/S Activities and Costs
* Participate in negotiating product and service contracts and monitor performance against
contract terms; maintain relationships with assigned suppliers
* Ensure adequate and accurate maintenance of I/S records

* Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
* Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of
the job

SALARY DETAILS

Las Vegas: $123,526 - $185,339
