Solution Architect

As a Solutions Architect you will support the architecting and designing of technology and digital solutions ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with customers, and with Munich Re Group architectural standards. In this role, you will enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions in projects for our Group Compliance and Risk Products.

• Implement of technology solutions and mapping the our requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure alignment with the enterprise architectural plan
• Accountability for detailed component specifications and translating these into detailed designs for implementation
• Support the strategic direction of technology investments to help develop the enterprise architecture and maximizing the return on technology investment
• Oversee the adherence to appropriate standards (performance, monitor capability, audit acceptability, secure environment). Guiding solutions through the appointed Architecture Review Board, as required
• Achieve the balance between functional, service quality and systems management requirements
• Communicate of architecture goals to business and consulting during the development of product requirements
• Analyze and design domain, application or application architectures in alignment with IT enterprise architecture standards and patterns

• Preferably a University degree in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualification
• 4+ years of experience in delivery of IT solutions in the financial services industry
• Experience in designing and developing solutions (Solution Development life cycles, and the application of IT risk & security considerations)
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following technical domains: Cloud native development programs or cloud migrations, cloud security and/or DevSecOps, privacy and data protection, development of or maturity of IT platforms and standards (e.g. shared services)
• Preferably, you are already ITIL or Microsoft certified or have the readiness to pursue one with our support
• Preferably you have experience with the design of Sanction Screening and Anti Money Laundering Solutions
