Position Overview:Bollinger is seeking a motivated and detail-orientedFinance and Legal Internfor a full-time, on-site summer internship at our Raceland facility. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn how the shipbuilding business operates and how Finance and Legal support it.
• Build foundational understanding of systems, data, and governance.
• Contribute to meaningful Finance work tied to system transformation and financial operations.
• Build data analysis and business acumen.
• Understand how the Legal department protects and enables the business.
• Gain exposure to contracts, compliance, and risk management.
• Connect insights from Finance and Legal experiences.
• Deliver an integrated project with practical recommendations.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP or HRIS is a plus
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in design, allowing students to develop industry-relevant skills, expand their professional network, and contribute meaningfully to Bollinger's Engineering department.
