What's the job?

The Product Specialist serves as a key support for the product management and marketing teams, sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and R&D. This role involves understanding the features, benefits, and applications of the product, as well as the competitive landscape. The Product Specialist supports product training sessions, helps prepare marketing materials, assists in gathering and organizing key metrics, contributes to basic reporting tasks, takes part in team activities, and offers general technical support to sales teams and customers.

Product Management Support:

Develop an understanding of the products, including features, benefits, and applications, as well as the competitive landscape and market trends. Support Line of Business leaders with price and financial tracking, ad hoc research, Customer VOC reporting, customer segmentation and reporting, project tracking and action tracking. Support team meetings by setting up events, ensuring the right resources are available and keeping minutes. Help collaborate group wide presentations. Act as back up for vacations.

Marketing Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials, product documentation, and marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the product's value proposition. Monitor, track and report marketing spend to the marketing and product management managers assisting in cost control in line with the budget. Help coordinate presentations for internal and external clients.

Customer Engagement:

Engage with customers to gather feedback, address inquiries, and provide technical support. Act as a point of contact for product-related questions and issues.

Sales Support:

Assist the sales team in identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and closing deals. Provide insights and recommendations based on customer needs and market trends. Collect and track VOC, analyze and report out to Lines of Business.

Product Development Input:

Collaborate with product development teams to provide customer insights and feedback informing product enhancements and new product development.

Performance Analysis:

Monitor product performance in the market, analyze sales data, and report on key metrics to assess the success of product initiatives.

What do you bring?



  • Bachelor's Degree (or Associates Degree and equivalent experience) in Marketing, business, finance, supply chain: required
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in Sales, marketing, supply chain, or product management
  • Knowledge of building products and applications a plus
