Description

The Manager, Accounting is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and the integrity of the credit union's financial records. This role provides leadership, guidance, and support to the accounting team and collaborates with senior management to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives. Bachelors of Accounting (required)
  
High School or GED (required) Experience 
Certified Public Accountant Designation is a plus. (preferred)
  
5+ years of progressive accounting experience is required, preferably in a financial institution. (required) 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred. (preferred) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. (required) Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead a team effectively. (required) High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct. (required) Experience with credit union operations and regulatory frameworks preferred. (preferred) Licenses & Certifications 
CPA - Cert Public Account (preferred)
