Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Central Florida | Hybrid

A rapidly growing national organization is seeking a highly analytical and intellectually curious FP&A Manager to join their team. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business unit leaders and senior leadership - helping drive better decision-making through meaningful financial insights, modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and knows how to take complex financial data and translate it into simple, clear, actionable direction for non-financial stakeholders. Insurance industry experience is a plus - but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with Business Unit leaders

  • Build, enhance, and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and capital planning

  • Analyze financial performance and identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers

  • Present financial insights to senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a clear, compelling format

  • Support special projects, ad hoc analysis, and scenario planning

  • Improve FP&A processes, reporting structure, and planning tools for greater scale and efficiency

  • Act as a strategic business partner and help ensure financial goals are aligned with operational targets

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or related analytical financial role

  • Strong financial modeling skills with high proficiency in Excel

  • Experience using FP&A tools (Adaptive Insights, Workday, Hyperion, etc.) a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting to non-financial audiences

  • Strong intellectual curiosity - proactive in asking "why" and challenging assumptions

  • Ability to handle ambiguity, work hands-on, and operate in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and able to partner effectively across departments

  • Experience working directly with senior leadership and driving influence through data

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
