Description

Tor Publishing Group is looking for a Marketing and Publicity Assistant to assist S.V.P. Associate Publisher and her senior management team. This role will be responsible for various administrative duties including scheduling and preparing for meetings, gathering materials, maintaining grids and creating workflows, submitting T&E reports.

What you'll do:



  • Provide administrative support for the SVP Associate Publisher
  • Organize and prepare materials for weekly, monthly and seasonal meetings
  • Manage departmental duties such as preparing and submitting materials to outside departments, acting as point person for interdepartmental projects, and organizing mailings.
  • Assist in market research and creating PPT presentation
  • Source materials for and assist in writing presentation scripts
  • Create and maintain seasonal grids to ensure consistent flow of information
  • Assist in preparation for International Book Fair attendance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • A strong interest in the book industry
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, PPT and Excel


Ideal experience:



  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience needed, preferably in a relevant subject area


This role will have an annual salary of $50,000.
