A VetTech Mechanical Intern provides routine technical support for assigned area; typically, an experiment or support group. Depending on the assigned area, fabricates, sets up, calibrates, operates, tests, repairs, and/or modifies a variety of mechanical equipment, systems and devices, or performs ESH duties including environmental surveys, waste disposal, and radiological surveys. Tasks are accomplished under direct supervision of a Fermilab employee and in cooperation with project teams, scientists, engineers, and support personnel and in accordance with established policies and procedures.

* Salary: $20 per hour
* Housing: No local/onsite housing is available
* Transportation: No transportation reimbursement is available
* Location: Internship is in-person onsite in Batavia, IL

Internship Deliverables:
* Complete a 10-week program under supervision of Fermilab employee
