As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Full Time in Gulfport, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for visitors and staff. In this dynamic role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or persons to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions and basic inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining awareness of merchandise and helping to deter theft or other unwanted behaviors.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
