JOB SUMMARY:
The position serves as lead analyst and responsible in assisting in developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program for the Company to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and ethical standards, both within the United States and wherever the Company does business internationally. This position is responsible for identifying and mitigating compliance risks, conducting internal compliance and relevant privacy audits/investigations, where indicated. This position, reporting to the VP, Chief Compliance Officer, promotes a culture of ethics and integrity within the Company, ensuring that the Company operates within the boundaries of the law and regulations and maintains a strong reputation. This position will serve as a project manager responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating efforts between a number of operational areas within the Company, when applicable.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive Company-wide compliance program serving as lead analyst to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Identification of potential compliance risks, assessing their impact, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
3. Assists with review, updating, and tracking Company policies and procedures related to compliance, ensuring they are effectively communicated and enforced throughout the Company.
4. Conducts research, assists in preparation of compliance and risk education training, and prepares materials to effectively communicate compliance requirements, ethical standards, and Company policies to employees throughout the organization.
5. Assists in promoting a culture of ethics and integrity within the Company and ensures that employees understand and adhere to the Company's code of conduct.
6. Handles the most complex or sensitive issues facing the Company effectively and efficiently. Collaborates with resources such as counsel, paralegals, both inside the Company and with outside counsel, administrative support personnel, personnel from other departments, as assigned/indicated.
7. Assists in development and preparation of compliance work plan and assessment and prepares compliance executive summaries for management review.
8. Assists in preparing reports and presentations, compiling meaningful data for management and executives on compliance matters, findings, and recommendations.
9. Maintains, updates, and documents compliance records to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
10. Works with various teams across the Company to implement compliance measures. Collaborates, coordinates, and communicates effectively across all disciplines and departments.
11. Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers and strives to continuously improve service delivery.
12. Manages multiple priorities, customer expectations and relationships with all stakeholders. Manages relationships with customers, project managers, and any/all levels of management.
13. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations relating to securities, healthcare, data privacy and security, including HIPAA, and government programs.
14. Demonstrates commitment to the Company's core values.

JOB SCOPE:
This individual works under supervision and with a moderate amount of discretion to make decisions that affect the day-to-day operations within the Company. The candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision. The candidate follows established procedures and uses knowledge of the Company's general business principles, to complete job responsibilities. Work requires basing decisions on sound logic and rationale; advancing problems or issues toward resolution when encountering ambiguity or uncertainty; choosing the best alternative based on consideration of pros, cons, tradeoffs, timing and available resources; making timely suggestions for decisions on problems and issues requiring immediate attention
