Freight Operations Coordinator - Supporting Efficient Cargo Movement at The Pasha Group

We're seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Freight Operations Coordinator to support the efficient flow of cargo through our transloading operations. In this vital role, you'll manage documentation, communication, and coordination among customers, vendors, and internal teams-ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance every step of the way.

Your Role: Coordinate, Communicate, and Deliver
Supporting smooth and efficient cargo operations from start to finish.
  • Cargo Coordination: Manage cargo movement based on export bookings and import documentation, including container release, rail moves, and terminal returns.
  • Work Order Management: Enter and prepare work orders with accurate instructions for dispatch, operations, and vendors to ensure timely processing.
  • Operational Readiness: Print and distribute necessary paperwork ahead of cargo arrivals and relay expected volumes to dispatch and management.
  • Customer Communication: Provide timely updates throughout the transloading process and send final documentation by required cut-off times to support Customs and compliance requirements.
  • Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to equipment, booking, or carrier issues; take corrective action to resolve customer concerns or operational disruptions.
  • Record Accuracy: Update customer databases, account records, and inventory logs to maintain consistent and complete documentation.
  • Billing Support: Prepare billing for completed work orders, apply correct rates, and assist with invoice corrections.
  • Regulatory Coordination: Arrange inspections with government agencies when required or requested.
  • Professional Interaction: Communicate clearly and courteously via phone and email to maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
What You Bring to the Team
A dependable professional with a focus on accuracy, service, and operational excellence.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (HSED) required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in warehouse operations, logistics, customer service, or data entry; experience in freight operations preferred.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Understanding of freight transportation and warehouse operations.
    • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
    • Proficiency with general office tasks such as filing, scanning, faxing, and mailing.
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Working Environment
This role requires work that may involve the following environmental conditions:
  • Corporate office environment
  • Freight warehouse facility, office, outdoor yard and lot, and workshop settings, where hot, humid, cold, and other inclement weather conditions may occur.
