This position is Hybrid. This position requires CJIS & FTI fingerprints and a background check. Who we are and what we do: The Business Domain Director (BDD) reports directly to the BSD Executive Director and manages multiple teams that support agencies in the General Government Business Domain and the Statewide Enterprise Resource Planning tool within the enterprise organization, Strategic Technology Solutions (STS). The Business Domain Director serves as the primary point of contact within STS responsible for managing the General Government Domain, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions to partner agencies. This position enables delivery of customer-focused services, ensures alignment between agency operations and enterprise-level initiatives, and supports strategic projects. - Experience in portfolio planning, tracking, and resource/financial management.

- Progressive IT leadership experience emphasizing service delivery management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise director-level roles responsible for agency business relationships within the General Government domain.
- Provide leadership and decision-making in aligning staffing needs, project requirements, and resources with agency and enterprise goals. Manage business relationship and escalation between agency executives and STS enterprise leadership.
- Oversee and align agency technical strategies with statewide enterprise goals. Hire, mentor, and develop STS domain resources to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Participate in enterprise-level governance including the Solutions Review Board, Change Management Board, and other decision forums.
- Review agency endorsement requests to ensure alignment of initiatives across domains.
- Lead supporting critical enterprise initiatives to improve process efficiency and modernization.
- Ensure continuity of business operations, high-quality service delivery, and responsiveness to agency needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in an IT or Business-related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working with leadership to create IT strategies.
- Experience directing IT teams and functions of moderate to complex difficulty. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, rules, and policies related to information systems governance.
- Bonus Qualifications/Traits: ITIL certification or expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines. Experience leading virtual teams.
- Experience managing vendors and third-party delivered services. Experience leading in a diverse environment.
