Summary of Position: Responsible for various aspects of student recruitment from initial inquiry to registration, including student events, community outreach, data tracking and the relationship owner coaching model. Manage and oversee a student-focused department that promotes access and delivers on our brand promise of the Essential Experience. This position requires a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends.
This position is hybrid eligible with one day/week working from home after the training period.

Essential Functions

1. Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required. 2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department. 3. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western's culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success. 4. Administration and Strategic Planning - Supporting Action/Task May Include:
- Manage department goals and objectives through planning using key performance indicators that support key results, College priorities, and enrollment goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract new students through community outreach, promotional events and informational sessions.
- Troubleshoot process issues and challenges, developing short-term and long-term solutions as needed and support staff in achieving department goals.
- Ensures high-touch and efficient communication and interaction with prospective students
- Oversee student-centered Customer Service Management (CRM) communications focused on the admissions funnel data for recruitment, tours, and student events.
- Ensure the department provides first choice service to external and internal stakeholder through in-person, telephone, email, individual meetings and CRM communications.
- Implement evaluation models from initial inquiry to registration; track and monitor recruitment related data to make data informed decisions.
- Responsible for the purchase of promotional materials and give away items
5. Manage Internal/External Customer Relations Supporting Action/Task May Include:
- Develop, maintain, and lead collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships in support of College priorities and key results. Serve on internal and external committees
- Partner with community organizations to increase awareness of Western as an opportunity for all community members
- Work with other college departments such as Financial Aid, college advising, and academic and non-academic support areas to ensure students have the support they need.
- Collaborate with marketing, program leaders, faculty and students to increase Western's visibility and presence in local and state markets.

This position reports to: Director - Strategic Enrollment Management Starting annual salary range based on education and experience: $61,350 - $81,734 This position would include competitive salary, along with a wide variety of benefits available to full-time Western Technical College Employees.
