This role will allow you to apply your industry knowledge, passion, negotiation and relationship skills to build a unique approach to how our clients go to market, delivering best in class opportunities while maximizing value.

MRM is seeking a visionary and strategic VP, Partnerships to lead the agency's custom media partnerships practice. This senior leadership role will oversee the creation, negotiation, and delivery of high-impact partnerships across content platforms, publishers, sponsorships, influencers, and experiential media. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of branded content, cultural relevance, and emerging media formats, and can connect them seamlessly to client objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the partnership strategy across a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships with media owners and platforms, and leading a team of partnership buyers and strategists. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position that sits at the intersection of media innovation, client leadership, and agency growth.

In This Role, You Will:

* Lead the development and execution of strategic media partnership programs that align with client goals and elevate brand presence across platforms

* Serve as a senior client advisor on all partnership-related initiatives, providing vision, strategy, and thought leadership

* Oversee the negotiation of high-value sponsorships, branded content, influencer campaigns, and publisher integrations

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key media vendors, publishers, and content platforms to unlock first-to-market opportunities

* Partner with Strategy, Creative, and Analytics teams to ensure integrated, insight-driven partnership solutions

* Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing partnerships team, fostering innovation and professional development

* Ensure flawless execution of partnership activations, including performance tracking, measurement, and post-campaign analysis

* Identify and champion new media technologies, platforms, and content trends that enhance partnership value

* Represent MRM at industry events, panels, and with press as a thought leader in the media and partnerships space

What We Are Looking For:

* Bachelor's degree in Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)

* 10+ years of media experience with a focus on integrated partnerships, branded content, and sponsorships

* Proven leadership experience in an agency or brand-side media role, managing cross-functional teams and senior clients

* Deep understanding of digital media, influencer marketing, emerging platforms, and cultural trends

* Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and client-facing presentation skills

* Experience with campaign measurement, brand lift studies, and ROI tracking for partnership activations

* Proficiency with tools like Prisma, influencer management platforms, and analytics dashboards

* High emotional intelligence, executive presence, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset

The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $250,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
