Company Overview:
The James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational takes place March 2-8, 2026, at the Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, Fla. The tournament, which will be televised on the Golf Channel, will feature a field of 78 PGA TOUR Champions professionals competing for a purse of $2.2 million dollars. Playing alongside the Champions Tour players will be 26 football legends, who will tee it up on Friday and Saturday of the event. Benefitting the Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, and The First Tee Florida Gold Coast, the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational will be managed by Pro Links Sports, a nationally recognized sports marketing and event management firm that assists in running several PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions tournaments. Position Summary:
This internship will focus on continuing the development of our volunteer program while making a lasting impact by supporting our main beneficiary, the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation. This candidate will work directly with the Volunteer Director and regularly interact with our volunteers. The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure, in a team environment, be keen to detail, and seek gaining exposure to the PGA TOUR and entertainment industry.
Position Details:
  • Recruit, train, and retain volunteers to support tournament operations
  • Assist volunteers with registration through Trust Event Solutions, our volunteer portal
  • Represent the tournament at community events, promoting volunteer opportunities
  • Support the Volunteer Director with meetings, communications, and uniform distribution
  • Help coordinate and fulfill donated food for volunteers and staff during tournament week
  • Provide ticketing support to volunteers as needed
  • Assist in creating and updating the Volunteer Handbook
  • Collaborate with staff on the Volunteer Appreciation Party, including giveaway procurement
Qualified Applicants Must Have:
  • A desire to gain experience in a professional sports and entertainment environment
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility and willingness to work evenings, long hours, and weekends
  • Great attitude, work ethic, and enthusiasm for learning at all levels
  • Full availability during advance and tournament week (February 23 - March 8)
  • Internships will run from January 15 - March 13, 2026
Eligibility
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of application and throughout internship period. Receiving academic credit is optional.
  • Applicants should reside near Boca Raton or be willing to commute to Boca Raton
  • A resume and cover letter should be submitted as an attachment to the application
  • Please note internships are unpaid
