About the Position:
The System Architect will be a lead engineering position in our Systems Engineering Area. This role will develop and maintain system architecture, derive, and decompose a compliant and traceable set of system requirements from a governing set of performance standards for our line of ground combat vehicles.

Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect:
- Develop and comprehends system level architecture.
- Develop system level requirements from high level customer specifications.
- Work cross functionally to derive and decompose Systems Requirements to the Subsystem level.
- Responsible for developing Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), Requirements Compliance Matrices (RCMs), and Requirements Verification Tractability Matrices (RVTMs).
- Proficient with Requirements Configuration Management tools like DOORS
- Develop System Requirements using MBSE and SYSML tools like Cameo Magic Draw
- Ability to lead activities and technically lead teams in projects.
- Author classified volume for proposals.
- Assist with ISSO implementation and maintaining security control in accordance with security plan.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical Engineering desired.
- 10+ years related engineering experience sought but will consider fewer years with advanced degree.
- Cameo Magic Draw experience (or similar software tool) required.
- Hands-on experience with developing system architecture using tools like Capital Logic.
- Experience with ensuring full compliance of system requirements from Performance Specification, down to component level testing.
- Ability to fully comprehend system level architecture.
- Experience with full requirements traceability from System Requirements down to component level requirements and to verification.
- Experience developing customer deliverables from System Requirements, that include RTVM, RCM, RTM.
- Extensive knowledge of system engineering principles and applicable codes, standards and trade practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain security clearance).
Bonus Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance preferred.
- Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical/Systems Engineering desired.
- Work experience in the Defense Industry, preferably in land-based systems and working with the US government as a customer.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management System.
- Works well in a team and individually.
- Must be able to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime as required
