Summary

Fulfillment and Logistics Analyst

The Fulfillment and Logistics Analyst is responsible for the development and deployment of supply chain processes and vendor management inventory. The Supply Chain Analyst is also accountable for inventory status data, data integrity and purchase order management, support and develop processes and troubleshooting issues.

The Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers, and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.

Responsibilities

    Analyze and track shipping costs across 20+ difference shipping accounts and other fulfillment vendors to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Performance Analysis- Coordinate and research performance data and conduct analysis required to monitor and report technology to streamline and improve the accuracy of the reporting process
  • Support continuous improvement in program costs by evaluating data for demo kitting, pricing reviews, inventory management and shipping actuals
  • Manage reporting for vendor management and fulfillment operations that align to agreed upon SLAs and performance metrics
  • Review invoices from third-party vendors to ensure accuracy in quoted costs, items ordered, quantities, coding and associated taxes
  • Pull reports from third-party vendor systems and other logistics tools used to generate actionable insights for fulfillment improvements
  • Provide analytical support to supply chain projects and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience Requirements: 2-4 years experience in relevant field
  • Travel requirement: Some travel expected

Supervisor Responsibility

Direct Reports: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

Indirect Reports: Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Order management expertise
  • Knowledgable in SAP
  • Expert proficiency in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Self-motivated with highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.

Field Requirements: Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment, which may include working in variable temperatures such as refrigerated areas, freezer sections and deli/bakery areas. The position typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each workday performing the following activities: Engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use consumer goods products, prepare, and serve food and beverages safely as appropriate for the product demonstration.
