The Role
We're looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is innovative, guest-focused, and experienced in developing impactful pre-arrival programs, training team members, and using Opera Cloud to drive results.

This is an OEM (Overtime-Eligible Manager) role, paid hourly at $32 per hour. As per California labor laws, daily overtime is applicable for hours worked beyond 8 in a day or 40 in a week. This role generally works up to 45 hours per week, offering additional earning potential while maintaining a leadership position within the team.

This position is being hired on a temporary, month-to-month basis for up to 6 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

What You'll Do




  • Lead, train, and inspire the Guest Services team to deliver exceptional, memorable service



  • Design and manage engaging pre-arrival programs to elevate the guest journey



  • Oversee front desk operations with attention to detail, consistency, and hospitality excellence



  • Utilize Opera Cloud to manage guest reservations, preferences, billing, and team efficiency



  • Address guest feedback and concerns with professionalism, urgency, and care



  • Maintain composure and leadership presence during peak times or challenging situations



  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive workplace culture




What We're Looking For




  • 2+ years of front office leadership experience, preferably in a luxury or boutique setting



  • Strong experience using Opera Cloud



  • A passion for delivering elevated, customized guest experiences



  • Strong training and team development skills



  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities



  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
