$130,000 - 145,000K base salary (depending on experience)

Vaco has partnered with a manufacturing company seeking a Divisional Controller to join their team. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, growth opportunity, and a strong compensation package. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and executive-level reporting, while ensuring accuracy of allocations, inventory valuations, and ERP processes. If you have 5+ years of controllership or operational finance experience, strong ERP and Excel skills, and a background in cost and inventory accounting, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include:
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to provide insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Ensure accuracy of cost allocations, inventory valuations, and reconciliations through regular audits
  • Maintain and refine cost accounting models, overhead allocations, and ERP cost tracking processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify cost savings, improve reporting workflows, and enhance margin visibility
  • Prepare executive-ready reporting and analysis, including KPIs, scenario modeling, and compliance reviews
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in operational finance or controllership roles
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel modeling
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills across cross-functional teams


Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
