Interim SEC Reporting Manager

We are seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Consultantto provide interim coverage for the accounting team. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate SEC filings and supporting the finance team through quarterly and annual reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead preparation and review of 10-Q and 10-K filings, including MD&A and footnote disclosures.

  • Collaborate closely with the Controller, external auditors, and legal counsel to ensure compliance with SEC requirements.

  • Coordinate timelines, draft sections, and support edits/updates for filings.

  • Provide technical accounting insights and ensure reporting accuracy under GAAP and SEC guidelines.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
    Proven experience managing SEC reporting for public companies.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC, and SOX compliance.

  • Excellent collaboration skills with auditors, legal counsel, and internal teams.

  • Manager or Senior Manager level experience preferred.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
