Duties and Responsibilities |
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Card Office including ensuring supplies are fully stocked (at both campuses).
- Hires, trains, schedules and supervises student employees at both campuses.
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service to all patrons seeking assistance in writing, in person and by telephone.
- Provides maintenance on Campus Card equipment located throughout campus.
- Regularly withdraws and deposits funds from transaction machines on campus with security.
- Responds to inquiries and resolves discrepancies; determines appropriate corrective actions within established guidelines and refers for action as appropriate.
- Clearly understands policies and procedures, both financial and academic, of the University in order to provide information to students; remains in contact with appropriate University departments for up-to-date information.
- Maintains the website and any updates to publications distributed by the Card Office.
- Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by the Manager.
- Confidentiality of all employee and students records are maintained.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience |
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of related customer service and/or cash handling experience.

Qualifications |
- College degree.
- At least one year of customer service, preferably with cash handling experience.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Must have excellent customer Service. Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations calmly; respond promptly to customer needs as well as requests for service and assistance.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Excellent verbal and diplomatic skills are critical.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to problem solve.
