Be part of our journey to shape the future and grow with us! WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: This position is based in Blaine, MN, and our new facility will open in early 2026. Upon hire, onboarding and training will be held at our facility in Anoka, MN until the Blaine facility opens. In this role, you will collaborate with our business unit to effectively carry out lean manufacturing and business process initiatives. You will discover, create, and flawlessly implement lean solutions within the economic capability of the plant, fostering a lean culture across the organization. Your duties will involve:
Collaborating with colleagues to complete events and projects essential for implementing Future State Plans. Applying Lean principles such as Standard work, Ergonomics, cell design-3P, TPM, SMED, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, and 5-S. Prioritizing improvement opportunities based on growth, safety, cost, delivery, quality, and cash. Supporting and coordinating Lean Kaizen Events, including scheduling, prioritizing materials, managing room set-up, facilitating meetings, and recording action items. Participating in PIMS audits, 5S activities, and daily GEMBA walks. Conducting process reviews and assisting in establishing standardized work procedures. Ensuring open communications and the involvement of employees in the process. Providing periodic updates on progress during events.
YOU HAVE:
Associate degree preferred 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or lean environments. Knowledge or certification in Six-Sigma. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts and practices. Ability to adapt to changing business environments and work effectively under uncertainty. Proficiency in using personal computers, enterprise software, and specific group software tools. Capability to develop and deliver effective presentations.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $20.40 - $37.80 Per Hour
