Orderly, Anesthesia - The Valley Hospital, Paramus, Full Time, Day Shift

To provide basic care to patients in a variety of age groups, assist patients with activities of daily living, and perform general nursing unit activities under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

High school diploma and completion of the basic Nursing Assistant Orientation Course at The Valley Hospital.

Completion of a department-specific on-the-job training program.

Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; to work cooperatively with members of the healthcare delivery team and staff; to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; to set priorities and solve problems; to respond quickly to emergency requests; to communicate effectively (orally and in writing); and to assist in meeting the patient care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
