Position Description DUTIES: The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems according to engineering drawings and production standards. Assemble CDU systems and subassemblies following mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Install pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, frames, and related mechanical components. Perform precision fitting, bolting, and alignment of mechanical parts. Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly. Inspect and verify assemblies for quality, fit, and function. Work closely with engineering and QA teams to identify and resolve issues during the build process. Maintain accurate records of assembly tasks and follow production schedules. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Key Responsibilities Required Education & Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Requires the use of simple arithmetic such as addition and subtraction of decimals and fractions, together with simple drawings and some measuring instruments such as caliper and scale; including simple use of formulas, charts, schedules, wiring diagrams, adjustable measuring instruments and the keeping and understanding of necessary records Physical requirements of the job are the ability to: Lift 50 pounds without assistance Stand for a minimum of 2-3 hours Reaching over shoulders/head Bending at waist/knees Twisting at shoulders/waist Modine is an equal opportunity employer.
