POSITION SPECIFICS The Pennsylvania State University, Department of Student Affairs, is seeking applicants for an Events Specialist. The Events Specialist plays a central role in coordinating and supporting a wide range of events at the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center and Eisenhower Chapel. The Center for Spiritual and Ethical Development (CSED) at Penn State serves over 60 religious, spiritual, and secular communities and fosters a diverse, multi-faith learning environment that supports the academic, emotional, social, spiritual, and ethical development of students. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the CSED remains welcoming, inclusive, accessible, and functional for a diverse array of religious, spiritual, and ethical programs. This role involves full-spectrum event management-from initial inquiries and logistics planning to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up-while maintaining the facility's readiness, safety, and responsiveness to diverse community needs. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Associate Degree 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: NoneInterested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume for full consideration.
