JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Dr. Janette Watkins' research laboratory, within the Department of Kinesiology, College of Health and Human Development at University Park Campus, is seeking a part-time sport scientist to support research efforts conducted in local gyms around Bloomington, Indiana. This role involves coordinating on-site data collection, assisting with grant and manuscript preparation, and providing general support for ongoing research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate and conduct on-site data collection in participating gyms.

* Assist with the preparation of research grants and manuscripts.

* Support general research activities and project organization.

* Collaborate with research team members to ensure smooth project operations.

Qualifications:

* Background in sport science, exercise science, kinesiology, or related field.

* Strong organizational and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently in community-based settings.

* Experience with data collection and research processes preferred.
