Our INVISTA Longview, TX facility, is seeking entrepreneurial, innovative leaders to join the team as a Warehouse Associate.

Our Team

The Warehouse Associate is responsible to process of incoming materials, storing and picking of materials from warehouse racking, processing of shipments, Process of incoming materials, storing and picking of materials from warehouse racking, processing of shipments (delivery notes), cycle counts, and general warehouse activities.

The work schedule consists of working Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

What You Will Do

  • Support On-Site Contractors: Coordinate with contractors to ensure efficient movement of materials critical to plant operations. Serve as backup for contractor responsibilities, including:
    • Transporting bulk additives between Warehouse, Synthesis, Processing, and Quality Testing.
    • Managing pallet inventory by stocking empties and removing scrap pallets.
    • Delivering samples to the Quality department.
    • Replenishing gas cylinders.
    • Handling wash pad and scrap material transfers to and from the warehouse.
  • Assist Warehouse Technicians: Collaborate with technicians on key warehouse tasks such as:
    • Staging additives.
    • Processing shipping and receiving activities.
    • Sorting, labeling, and storing incoming materials.
    • Conducting cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
    • Preparing order kits.
  • Maintain Warehouse Organization: Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment by:
    • Cleaning and organizing the warehouse, including sweeping and dusting.
    • Optimizing storage space through material consolidation and scrap removal.
    • Performing routine vehicle inspections on forklifts and flatbed trucks.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Teams and Outlook
  • Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
  • Specific experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Valid driver's license
  • This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • SAP experience
  • Proven experience using technology, including handheld scanners and related devices, to efficiently manage and process information

Physical Requirements

  • Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The work schedule is subject to change with notification, depending on business needs. Additionally, must be available to work scheduled (Planned) or unscheduled (unplanned/short-notice hours on nights and/or weekends, holidays as needed), to meet business needs.
  • Repeated lifting to 50lbs and repetitively as required
  • Walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling
  • Work in a hot/humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment
  • Required to wear any or all of the following PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, goggles, hard hats, FRC, gloves, safety boots. PPE use is in accordance with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for a given task.

This role is subject to a pre-hire physical abilities test.
