KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Advisory Communications to join our Corporate Affairs organization.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic communications initiatives that elevate executive visibility and support the Advisory business's goals and objectives; lead platform-building opportunities for executives, including organization of client facing events, thought leadership, speaking engagements, and social/digital presence
  • Bring a marketing mindset to create and track a stakeholder network of client leaders, business influencers, media and non-profit players to build strong executive networks; own execution around the CFO Roundtables, leveraging existing forums to widen KPMG Advisory's executive footprint
  • Manage and execute media relations strategies, proactively identifying opportunities to advance business objectives and enhance the firm's reputation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling messaging and content for internal and external audiences, leveraging multiple communications channels-including social, digital, and traditional media
  • Create and track map of stakeholders critical to executive platforms, including non-profit board service, client relationships, contacts and leads; Monitor and analyze media coverage, stakeholder feedback, and external trends to inform and refine communications strategies
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and data-driven insights in communications strategies and measurement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to executives and business partners
Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of experience in communications, public relations, or related professional services roles, with significant exposure to executive visibility and platform-building
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex communications and event initiatives on time and within budget; Demonstrated expertise in media relations and/or event management, with an ability to design and execute multi-channel campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Experience advising and collaborating with senior executives, with the ability to develop and present strategic recommendations confidently and persuasively; Demonstrated experience and understanding of how to leverage associations, non-profits and outside partnerships to build reputation
  • Superior writing, editing, and content development skills for diverse channels and audiences
  • Demonstrated interest and skills in leveraging AI and digital tools to innovate and improve communications processes and effectiveness; Exceptional relationship management skills, with a collaborative approach and ability to influence and drive results in a dynamic, matrixed environment; Ability to multi-task, adapt to shifting priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
