In this role, you'll focus on direct user interaction and experience, working on both content and chrome within Word Native. You'll collaborate with a talented and experienced team of engineers to solve complex technical challenges-from document layout and performance tuning to modern asynchronous collaboration. You'll work in a customer-focused, hypothesis-driven environment, partnering across Office teams and leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to build experiences that people truly need and love. We're also exploring how AI can enhance user flows, powering the next wave of innovation in productivity tools. ResponsibilitiesDesign, own, and deliver software solutions that meet business and technical requirements, while fostering strong communication and collaboration across teams.Drive the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Apply creative problem-solving and data-driven decision-making to ensure high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement.Develop secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable code, and take ownership of debugging, testing, and supporting software in production environments.Engage in continuous learning and actively share knowledge to elevate team capabilities and promote a culture of growth.Contribute to a high-trust, collaborative team environment, supporting peers and investing in collective success.Champion diversity and inclusion by bringing unique perspectives to the team and helping build products that serve a broad range of customers.OtherEmbody our Culture and Values | |
