Job Summary

The Product Manager position involves driving activities surrounding the business analysis, product development, product management, sales enablement and financial success of a product and services portfolio in a specific technical area of focus while maintaining a high standard of quality. The Product Manager is responsible for performance reporting for their service and creation of the strategic plan including performance objectives, services pricing models, competitive positioning, and manage active sales campaigns. This role works with a cross-functional team to execute the plan. In addition, this person will conduct research on industry trends, market opportunities; key customer needs and seek to uncover new growth opportunities.

What you will do:

  • Own the lifecycle of products/services in the identified area of focus from idea selection and prioritization through to service creation, updates, and retirement aligned to a customer's lifecycle, driving for profitability, quality and consistency in delivery of the product or service.
  • Build effective relationships between functional departments to ensure business alignment including but not limited to all services teams, marketing, Partner management, and sales.
  • Develop and drive profitable product and services strategies and roadmap for their identified area of focus, taking into consideration business objectives, identified and unarticulated needs, competitive landscape, market positioning and resource constraints. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support development of this strategy into an achievable roadmap that delivers on business goals.
  • Drive the roadmap working closely with Technical Architects, Sales, Customers, Partners and Partner Management, and Presales solutions teams for the assigned product and services portfolio.
  • Navigate partner portal and execute against partner pricing programs.
  • Clearly communicating strategy and goals to project teams and ensuring delivery against them.
  • Gathering information on customer needs through research, data analysis, competitive research and any other relevant tools.
  • Release Management - Communicate release schedule and ongoing management of services to incorporate and communicate new features and functionality.
  • Report on the performance of the product and services in the assigned roadmap using P&L reporting, forecasts, and other available reporting.
  • Drive service development by supporting efforts to take a product from MVP to controlled release and to full launch.
  • Understand the assigned product lines to be able to communicate customer value, outcomes, and impact to the markets for the services that are owned
  • Support maintenance of the assigned products and services.
  • Develop and maintain sales/pre-sales collateral and training related to service creation as it relates to their portfolio.
  • Participate in ambassador teams to drive service prioritization and service creation consensus.
  • Participate in the go to market enablement of various cross functional sales and pre-sales teams through availability of sales trainings and assets.

What we expect of you

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Information Technology or business-related field and 2 years' experience in IT including product management and/or sales/marketing management, OR 6 years' experience in IT including product management and/or sales/marketing management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology landscape and ability to quickly learn new solution areas.
  • Proven record of successful project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Desired experience with Power Bi and Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the company including Senior Leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and conduct primary research.
  • Ability to multitask and be adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction.
  • Ability to evaluate opportunities and drive priorities with a clear focus on business priorities a plus.

Pay range: $ 77,300 - $ 106,380 depending on experience and skill set

Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan
