About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Senior Sales Manager to lead growth across the portfolio of BTN products. In this role, you will build sales strategies and execute business plans to maximize revenue and market share and exceed the corporate sales goals. You will have total customer responsibility that crosses Mass, Club, Channels, and other existing accounts.

How the Role Will Measure Success



  • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with new and existing customer partners.
  • Total customer responsibility includes promotional planning/execution, new item launches, trade spending, and deduction management.Accountability for communication to the customer including supply chain service, customer and consumer marketing, legal, finance, etc. Meet customer expectations on sales, replenishment, merchandising and retail conditions.
  • Responsible for management of broker and relevant distributor partners
  • Lead cross functional thinking and problem solving with cross-functional Back to Nature teams to support customer development and ongoing growth
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with new partners while maintaining brand integrity and profitability
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze sales data to identify opportunities and address challenges
  • Stay current on industry trends, market activities, and evolving consumer behaviors to inform channel development strategies.
  • Manage and mentor internal team, setting targets and driving performance excellence.



What You Will Bring to the Table



  • Minimum 7 years of CPG retail sales experience, with strong experience in Mass & Club Channel
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated ability to be both strategic and detailed oriented bringing ideas from concept to completio
  • Proven strong management capabilities and top tier communication skill
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver results via problem solving capability and influence
  • Experience with customer IT systems platform
  • Business acumen across marketing, supply chain and financ
  • Ability to manage trade planning and maintain budget & spendin
  • Proven, successful experience selling and negotiating new products, packaging and/or new approaches both internally and externally to challenge the status quo and think differently
  • Demonstrated experience building effective relationships, communicating across multiple levels internally/externally and solid organization skills to meet business goals
  • Experience in analyzing data and developing a relevant selling story based on findings.
  • Takes initiative, sets priorities, and able to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets that are relevant to both company and customer strategies.
  • Ability to anticipate obstacles and develop contingency plans.



Additional Expectations



  • Minneapolis-based preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% with no destination restrictions.
