Technical Product Manager

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America is seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of core enterprise and customer-facing software products. In this role, you'll act as the critical link between business stakeholders and software engineering teams, translating needs into actionable product roadmaps, epics, and user stories.

This position is ideal for a product leader with strong technical acumen, experience in B2B or operational platforms, and a passion for building solutions that deliver measurable business impact in highly regulated industries.

This position reports to the Director of Software Engineering. This position will be fully onsite for the first 90 days at our location in Somerville, MA. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.

Responsibilities:



  • Define and own the vision, roadmap, and strategy for assigned software products.
  • Translate business needs into well-defined product requirements, epics, and user stories.
  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization with development and QA teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering and UX to shape MVPs and iterative product releases.
  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned products; clarifying workflows, integrations, and technical logic.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment through demos, feedback sessions, and regular communication cadences.
  • Track product adoption, performance, and feedback to inform continuous iteration.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and data governance requirements.
  • Partner with business leads to support UAT and successful rollouts.
  • Collaborate across product and business teams to deliver scalable, integrated solutions.


Basic Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or equivalent role.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise or customer-facing software products in Agile environments.
  • Proficiency in Agile tools and practices (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong ability to collaborate with engineering, UX, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Oracle, Azure preferred), APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Experience in EHS, waste management, life sciences, warehouse management, inventory management, or regulatory compliance software.
  • Technical background or familiarity with C#, .NET, SQL, Couchbase, or React.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion applications (ERP, Field Service, Supply Chain, WMS, Inventory, Transportation, Compliance).
  • Experience leading or contributing to enterprise platform modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
