About the Opportunity

As part of the Finance team, you will, as a Technical Accounting Manager, lead technical accounting initiatives, oversee complex revenue recognition matters, and support the Controller in managing the monthly close, financial reporting, and compliance functions.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CPA to join our finance leadership team. This hybrid role is ideal for a candidate with Big 4 public accounting experience, deep expertise in US GAAP, and a strong background in healthcare or technology.

What you'll do



  • Oversee aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Manage general ledger activities, review reconciliations, and execute internal controls
  • Partner with FP&A on monthly and quarterly balance sheet and income statement variance analyses
  • Collaborate with third parties on merger and acquisition accounting
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards
  • Analyze and document complex revenue arrangements, including bundled services and multi-element contracts and assess related contract assets and liabilities
  • Prepare technical memos and white papers for internal and external audit support
  • Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure compliance and timely completion
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reporting packages

What experience you bring (Role Requirements)

  • CPA required
  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, Big 4 public accounting preferred
  • Industry experience in healthcare or technology preferred
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, especially revenue recognition (ASC 606) and business combinations (ASC 805)
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Pay range: $115,000-$130,000 USD

This is an exempt position. The salary range is for Base Salary.Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee's geographic location.
