We have an opportunity for a Product Line Leader - Pool Lighting Solutions - to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will be accountable for the full lifecycle and performance of the lighting product line, including revenue growth, margin optimization, and operational planning. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision, technical understanding, and cross-functional leadership to deliver products that delight customers and differentiate Pentair in the market.

You will:

  • Lead the lighting product management team to develop and execute category growth strategies.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Create and drive a product line strategy that integrates the opportunities within your product portfolio with broader category and business strategies.
  • Shape and influence the strategic roadmap for lighting solutions, ensuring alignment across hardware, firmware, and connected platforms in partnership with software and engineering teams.
  • Represent the lighting category in executive forums, influencing investment decisions and strategic priorities.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across product development, marketing, sales, and supply chain to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Own the commercial performance of the lighting portfolio, including revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Develop and manage the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process to ensure supply-demand alignment and operational readiness.
  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision for connected and traditional lighting solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations to deliver innovative lighting products that meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Partner with digital and IoT teams to integrate lighting products into Pentair's connected ecosystem.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Lead the product planning process, including roadmap development, business case creation, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track product success and inform future investments.

Key Qualifications:

  • A BS in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, ideally with connected or lighting products.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and launching customer-centric products.
  • Strong understanding of IoT technologies, lighting systems, and user experience design.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $110700 - $205600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
