Position Overview:

As a Pre-Hospital Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing patient outcomes by guiding customers in the adoption of RQI and simulation programs. You'll collaborate closely with strategic partners, Alliance teams, and key accounts to ensure seamless coordination and resource alignment that maximizes customer impact. This role is instrumental in reestablishing Laerdal's presence in the EMS market, requiring a strong focus on building long-term, meaningful relationships with designated customers. Using a consultative sales approach, you will identify needs, deliver tailored solutions, and consistently meet financial objectives, including achieving new order value targets.

Responsibilities:
Mission & Program Advocacy

  • Serve as a passionate ambassador for Laerdal's mission to improve survival through digital resuscitation transformation, engaging customer leadership in the RQI journey.
  • Demonstrate mastery of the RQI and Simulation portfolio, including features, functionality, and value proposition.

Sales Performance & Territory Management

  • Achieve annual territory revenue quota while maintaining operating expenses within budget.
  • Apply disciplined pricing strategies to maximize net income, including responsible discounting and charge practices.
  • Create and close new opportunities through consultative selling and strategic territory planning.
  • Adjust activity levels to align with corporate strategy, including virtual engagements and inside sales efforts.

Customer Engagement & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders-including marketing, educational specialists, sales managers, and strategic partners-to drive customer success and revenue growth.
  • Direct customers to appropriate support resources to ensure satisfaction and continuity.
  • Maintain strong relationships with channel partners while prioritizing customer needs.

CRM & Forecasting Excellence

  • Maintain accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Manage campaigns, update contact and account information, and capture customer engagements weekly.
  • Prepare and analyze performance metrics and opportunity funnels to support revenue forecasting and action planning.

Professional Development & Operational Discipline

  • Develop and implement a personalized Growth Development Plan in partnership with your supervisor, with regular progress reviews.
  • Participate in monthly forecast and review meetings with leadership and peers.
  • Submit timely expense reports and manage demonstration equipment efficiently.

Product & Market Expertise

  • Demonstrate strategic understanding and tactical application of Laerdal's Emergency and Resuscitation Care portfolios, including simulation, manikins, SimCapture, Scenario Cloud, and RQI.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques and clinical knowledge to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Maintain competencies in key areas and exemplify behavior aligned with Laerdal's values.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate must reside within the South East Region (VA, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, LA, FL, TN)
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business preferred 3+ years of sales experience in medical disposables or capital equipment; or Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of CRM systems and webinar software preferred.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Strong communication skills for in-person, phone, and virtual interactions.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000, additional $65,000 variable at 100% to plan.
