Job Description

The qualified candidate will be a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and system administration to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a CCNP certification, 5+ years of hands-on experience, and a proven track record managing and securing enterprise network infrastructure.

Experience with Cisco Nexus / Catalyst switches, ISR / ASR / Catalyst routers, and FTD (Firepower Threat Defense) firewalls is essential. Experience with Cisco wireless controllers, WSA (Web Security Appliance), and ESA (Email Security Appliance) is beneficial.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  Design, implement, manage, and optimize complex network infrastructures.

  
  
• 
  

  Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs in a multi-site environment.

  
  
• 
  

  Deploy and manage Cisco FTD for advanced threat protection and firewall policies.

  
  
• 
  

  Administer Cisco WSA and ESA to ensure secure web and email communications.

  
  
• 
  

  Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

  
  
• 
  

  Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance and implement best practices.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

  
  
• 
  

  Provide escalation support for system and network-related incidents.

  
  
• 
  

  Participate in on-call rotation for critical system support.

  
  

Job Requirements

• 
  

  CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification required.

  
  
• 
  

  5+ years of professional experience in network engineering.

  
  
• 
  

  Solid experience with Cisco switch and routing platforms, Firepower (FTD), Web Security Appliance (WSA), and Email Security Appliance (ESA).

  
  
• 
  

  Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPN, VLANs, ACLs, and NAT.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience with system administration (Windows and/or Linux).

  
  
• 
  

  Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.

  
  
• 
  

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  
  
• 
  

  Excellent communication and documentation skills..
